About Us

Founded in 2001 as a creative outlet for its 3 founding engineers, BFR Digitals first product was the GUI-MUX. The Product was a graphic user interface that operated a video multiplexer and a VCR off a Windows 98 platform. We soon found a niche business opportunity to develop and manufacture robust CCTV equipment for the South African Market.

Today, as the South African market leaders in locally designed and manufactured Fibre Optic and UTP transmission equipment, BFR Digital links together some of this countries most intricate and sensitive CCTV networks.

Our early years taught us that users just want equipment that works. It is for this reason that the concepts of durability, capacity and innovation have been the key to our business success. Because we are passionate about our work, you can rest assured that we will deliver on our promise to you.
